Meet the team

Emma & Michael – Owners

Emma and Michael are the owners of Manor Hill House and are proud to have developed this successful business in the area that means so much to them. The farm where Michael was born and grew up is visible from the terrace, so he really is at home here.

Michael and Emma have been married for 39 years and have 3 children Edward, Victoria and James. Both Michael and Emma are very involved in the running of the house and the events that we hold. Michael is a popular figure tending the gardens and grounds, ensuring all is well maintained and is particularly proud of his famous stripy lawn. Whilst Emma is a perfectionist, with an eye for detail second to none.

Josh – Operations Manager

Josh is our operations manager and makes certain that the staff at Manor Hill House deliver excellent service. He is a great motivator and team leader. When couples first arrive here, he will often be the one to show them around and will be involved in much of the communications throughout their wedding journey.

Outside of work, Josh is a keen musician and a proud owner of two lovely labradors.

Ben – Operations Co-ordinator

Ben has been with us for 5 years and has worked his way up from being one of our front of house staff. With Josh, Ben is part of the evening team at weddings, and will also be involved with majority of the planning on the lead up to your big day. When the day arrives, he will be there shortly after the ceremony to congratulate you and will be with you until the celebrations are over at the end of the night.

He is a very friendly face around Manor Hill House and a formula one fan!

Grace – Wedding & Events Co-ordinator

Grace has now been with us for a couple of years and has exceptional attention to detail. She ensures every aspect is taken care of and allows each couple to have peace of mind when it comes to their wedding. On a wedding day she will be there to welcome the bride/groom and their party to make certain their day starts off in the best way.

In her free time, she likes to attend live music shows.

Georgia – Wedding & Events Co-ordinator

Georgia has worked in the wedding and events industry for almost 10 years and has great enthusiasm for creating a wedding or event that is specially tailored to you. Georgia will be there from your initial enquiry, through to the morning after the big day.

Her passion is rugby and she plays for a ladies’ team!

Phil – Head Chef

Our talented chef, Phil, prepares bespoke menus across a wide variety of international cuisine. He has worked with the team here since 2018, and always has rave reviews about the quality of the food he serves. Chef is a big Aston Villa fan along with his sous chef, Vaughn.

Beth – Content Creator & Events Assistant

Beth joined us early in 2024 as our content creator and events assistant. Within her role, she is responsible for all things social media and marketing, as well as helping out wherever else she can. During wedding days, you will often find her with a phone in hand recording lots of photos and videos of the couple’s special day.

Before joining us, Beth graduated from Birmingham City University with a degree in photography.

From food service to pouring you a drink, from setting up the wedding to cleaning down the house at the end of the night, our front of house team are a lovely bunch and will always go the extra mile to help out on your wedding day.
