Stunning Outdoor Wedding: Jenny & Sean

Jenny and Sean’s wedding was a celebration of love, joy, and shared history. Their journey began nine years ago when they first met in high school art class, a connection that grew from teenage friendship to lifelong love. On a beautiful August day, surrounded by their closest family and friends, they tied the knot in a charming civil ceremony that reflected their unique story and style.

The Wedding

The couple chose our venue for their special day, deciding to wed on our outdoor pavilion. Falling in love with the venue on their first visit, Jenny and Sean were captivated by its versatility and welcoming staff. Its outdoor setting was perfect for their dream wedding, complemented by their neutral, woody theme of greens and browns.

Jenny looked breathtaking in her gown from Hanley Bridal, while Sean was dashing in a stone-coloured suit from Reiss. Their wedding party was a vision of elegance, with five bridesmaids wearing sage green dresses and five groomsmen sporting stone-coloured trousers, white shirts, and personalised leather braces.

The couple’s 50 guests enjoyed a lively reception filled with laughter, love, and plenty of entertainment. The BBQ buffet was a big hit, keeping everyone’s energy up for a night of dancing to tunes spun by DJ Chris, a favorite at Manor Hill. Sparklers, garden games, and glasses of Pimm’s added to the sunny, relaxed atmosphere of the day.

Jenny and Sean’s thoughtful favors included sunflower seeds in little packets and engraved jigsaw pieces featuring their initials and wedding date—a beautiful keepsake for their guests.

Treasured moments

The ceremony was a heartfelt affair, filled with smiles and tender moments. Jenny shared that walking down the aisle to Sean after spending the night apart was her favorite part of the day. “All our nerves instantly disappeared, and we couldn’t stop grinning at each other like idiots,” she recalled. Another highlight was her dad’s emotional reaction upon seeing her in her wedding dress for the first time—a memory that will be cherished forever.

The day was documented beautifully by photographer Sam Legge, who provided the couple with stunning digital files to remember every moment. Jenny’s hair was styled by Niki from Beau Bella Hair, while her makeup was expertly done by one of her talented bridesmaids.
